Several studies have found that a white smoke deposition aid can reduce the production of white smoke throughout the process. We have developed an ammonium chloride electroplating aid without white smoke, which can greatly reduce the smoke generation during hot dip galvanizing. There are many advantages of using coplating agent, which can improve the infiltration of molten zinc to steel, and then perfect combination of coating and steel surface, and also improve the corrosion resistance of workpiece. Using the coater also has the advantages of good thermal stability, non - toxic, and complete decomposition.
Generally, the temperature of the coater needs to be kept around 65-75 degrees Celsius. If the temperature of the coater exceeds this range, the self-drying effect will be poor, resulting in slow reaction speed between the steel surface and the zinc liquid, long time of infiltration, and increased production of zinc ash. So the temperature of the plating aid should be controlled well.
