The galvanizing pot is made of special steel, usually more than 50mm thick, and is filled with molten zinc. The galvanizing pot can be heated through a variety of power media (such as natural gas extinguishing, gas extinguishing, electric heating, oil extinguishing, etc.) in the galvanized furnace. The service life of galvanizing pot is the secondary purpose of weighing the quality of galvanizing pot. The effective effect of galvanizing pot will bring high costs to the hot-dip galvanizing enterprises, such as production loss, leakage of zinc-5% to 8%, and energy consumption of re-melting, etc. The service life of galvanizing pot is not only related to its own processing quality and thickness, but also affected by the degree of operation and management. The service life of galvanizing pot can be added through the following measures:
1. When the zinc is added for the first time, the temperature of the galvanizing pot is changed by slow heating for a long time.
2. When the furnace is stopped for cooling, the heating should be stopped slowly to avoid the galvanizing pot splitting due to too much stress;
3. The static water pressure is the largest in the bottom part of the pot, and the galvanizing pot with a large depth is also an indispensable element.
4. Adopt a thermostatic heating system with temperature measurement and control instruments (very important);
5, perform good heating process parameters: severe not beyond limit critical temperature 490 ℃, galvanizing pot wall temperature reached 490 ℃ to 530 ℃, higher corrosion rate of iron will attack. 24kW·h/m2 without exceeding the critical heating strength;
6. The temperature difference between the pot wall and the bottom of the galvanizing pot shall not exceed 100K, and the temperature difference of other different positions on the pot wall shall be within 50K;
7. The rapid transit of zinc plating will lead to a large fluctuation in the temperature of zinc bath, which will affect the service life of the galvanizing pot. The quality of molten zinc in the galvanizing pot should be more than 30-40 times of the parts per hour.
8. The temperature of large zinc bath can be shaken when the plating parts are placed in the pot, and can also be prevented by reasonable combination of different batches of plating parts. If the lifting tools and transport conditions permit, heavy and light workpieces can be mixed in a batch of galvanizing pot.
